Jacob and I started Enzyme in 2017 with a mission to empower life science companies to innovate better and faster. We set out to build the system we wished had existed during our time in engineering (myself) and quality (Jake)—addressing the exact gaps we once faced firsthand. I’m deeply proud of how over the past 8 years we’ve helped our customers launch safer products, scale better systems, and navigate complex regulations.
Today, I’m sharing two significant updates. First, I’ve made the decision to leave my position as CEO of Enzyme to pursue the next chapter in my career. Second, the past few months, I’ve been thoughtfully considering the best path forward for Enzyme’s customers, and I’m excited to announce that Enzyme has been acquired by Greenlight Guru.
Enzyme achieved a great deal, but ensuring that we meet the evolving needs of customers requires a more mature infrastructure. Greenlight Guru not only brings that operational strength, but also shares a deeply aligned mission: empowering life sciences companies to bring safe, effective products to market with clarity and confidence. With a proven track record of supporting more than 1,000 customers and delivering exceptional service, Greenlight Guru is well positioned to support Enzyme customers both now and into the future.
When Jacob and I started Enzyme in 2017, our goal was clear: bring speed, clarity, and confidence to life sciences teams navigating complex quality and regulatory work. With the support of our team, customers, and partners, we helped companies build safer devices, launch faster, and scale with confidence—earning trust in a space where trust is everything. I’m incredibly proud of the team we built and the impact that team made.
And as for what’s next, I’ll be continuing this mission in a new way and will have more to say about that in the coming weeks. I’ve been offered an opportunity to continue this mission from the other side of the table, so to speak, and look forward to providing more details once that’s finalized.
