“I joined a company that already had Greenlight Guru. At first, I was excited because GG has fun articles and the eQMS has a slick interface. However, the beautiful user interface came at a cost. Filling in complaints, doing Design Control traces, moving through phases of CAPAs, and other quality tasks were time consuming because of many clicks required and slow loading time.
We ended up not using GG for anything except Document Control. I also hoped that such a nice user interface would encourage non-quality members of the team to be more willing to use the eQMS, such as the customer support team using the complaints module. However, they didn't find action items useful and were also frustrated by the loading time. When I tried troubleshooting issues in GG, I would sometimes have to wait more than 24 hours for support. Then on our renewal date, they almost doubled the price of GG.
I've used Enzyme eQMS in multiple experiences and different types of medical devices. Navigating the user interface is quick and doing traces in Design Control module is intuitive. The non-quality members were more willing to use Enzyme, including routing documents on their own, entering complaints, and (for the development teams) entering cards and tracing in the Design Control matrix.
Enzyme a built in support chat with online support available to respond quickly to questions and issues. Finally, there were no billing surprises with Enzyme.”

“I joined a company who had recently implemented Greenlight Guru. Previous to this electronic quality system (eQMS) implementation, procedures were written with defined document types which were then abandoned once implementation of Greenlight Guru as there was no way to implement the document types within the new eQMS. Therefore all documents were just deemed the same document type and the only ability to designate document types were the use of tags. This in itself created difficulties in management of document control.
The user interface was not user friendly and minor error changes (such as spelling errors), document title changes, etc. required a full change order to implement corrections. This was extremely cumbersome for a small start-up company of less than 15 employees. Greenlight Guru did not appropriately track training activities for the purpose of reporting metrics during Management Review and Quality metrics as a whole. Supplier Management was not part of the implementation and the cost of the system was extremely high for the product quality.
When presented with the Enzyme System, I was extremely hopeful for a system that would allow me to utilize a system that I could set up and manage appropriately according to industry standards for document control.
The training and supplier modules are amazing and track the metrics we require to report in Management Review decreasing the preparation time for these meetings. The system modules speak to each other with the ability to attach pertinent documents for each supplier into the supplier module. I do not have to search for tags. Tags were able to be utilized for document history from the Greenlight Guru system. The product module provides the requirements necessary to ensure that we are well organized and the ability to create the DHF from the system. Modifications for our company needs are able to be made with little effort.
The Microsoft and Google integrations with Enzyme provide quality in documentation uploads and downloads as Greenlight Guru had trouble converting file exchange. The system creating the document history and redlines is a huge plus as we are a very small company and saves quality time. Overall Enzyme has not only saved time and allows me to manage the system on my own, but also ensures accuracy of document control, supplier management, training, change requests, and product management. I am excited about adding the post market modules in the coming year.
This system provides the most bang for the buck!”
