New Microsoft Office 365 Integration Now Available with Enzyme QMS

October 9, 2023

At Enzyme, we believe in empowering teams to use the best tools for the job instead of trying to recreate those tools within our quality management system (QMS) software. That’s why we’re excited to announce our newest integration with Microsoft Office 365.

Customers will continue to store their Microsoft Office documents in Enzyme QMS as they always have, but can now edit Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files directly within the Enzyme platform with just one click.

“We think this is a best-in-class editing experience, and superior even to other solutions using desktop versions of the software,” said Jared Seehafer, co-founder and CEO at Enzyme. “In addition to getting that fully functional Microsoft Office document, you’re also going to get all the benefits of collaboration in the cloud. This really combines the collaboration potential of something like Google Docs with the tried and tested software of Microsoft Office that everyone already knows and uses.”

Here are some of the key benefits of this new integration:

  1. It’s easy to use.
All you have to do is go into Enzyme QMS, click New Document, and select Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, and a new tab will open with a full instance of Microsoft Office for web. As you type, changes will be saved automatically, and as soon as you close the document, all of your changes will be saved as the newest revision within Enzyme QMS.
  2. It simplifies reviewing and editing.
One of the key benefits of this integration is it eliminates the back and forth from your processes. Documents no longer need to be downloaded or uploaded, checked in or out, or emailed in order to get reviewed. Now you can invite people to review documents and make suggested changes or comments directly in Enzyme QMS. All reviewers in the document will see comments and edits being made in real-time.
  3. It promotes collaboration.
When all of your documentation is housed in one place and it’s easily accessible by people both inside and outside your quality team, adoption and use increases. This means you’re going to see a lot more collaboration and understanding from your stakeholders, helping to promote a culture of quality across your organization.
